Ok, so my husband has recently gone from a kinda, sorta Tampa Bay Rays fan, to a every night watchin', jersey & cap wearin', "Trop" attending baseball maniac. He even took our two-year-old to a game, so, he is not only now REALLY into the game, but brave too. Bandwagon, you say? Or, maybe he just has high standards.
Regardless of the success or failure of the Rays, there is one player that we constantly follow and cheer on, even though he doesn't play for "Our team", Detroit Tigers number 25, Ryan Raburn. We had the pleasure of getting to know Ryan, and his gorgeous wife, Suzanne when we shot their wedding last year.
Last week, June 28, 2008, Raburn hit his first career grand slam against Colorado Rockies pitcher Jeff Francis.
Congrats Ryan on your first wedding anniversary, and your continued success on the field. Go Tigers (& Rays)!
