Special dedication...to me.

Having a three year old is magical, messy, CHALLENGING, and wonderful. This morning after the baby-sitter arrived and I sat down at the computer to get a little work done, I was interrupted by the familiar "Mommy! Mommy! Come quick, I NEEEEED You!



I could tell that this was a non-emergency but, I scrambled out of my office in the 911 fashion anyway.

Parked at the dining room table head barely visible over the top of the laptop was Camden, he was wearing Spiderman undies and his favorite striped long sleeved shirt, and a smile from ear to ear.

"Mommy look! I found this song just for you! It's OUR song, your favorite!" He found Elmo and Chris Brown on Sesame Street's website.

We held hands and danced. I thought briefly about all the mothers and sons that I have seen dance together at weddings. Someday...

And he is right, it is my favorite...now.
