Tara and Jonce were married last Saturday, near their home in Inverness. We really had a great time getting to know them, and had a really great time capturing their wedding day.

We started out at Tara's parent's house. Where all the bridesmaids got ready.

Jonce's niece was one of the flower girls and Tara's nephew was the ring bearer. They were all so cute but, he stole my heart. The second that I walked through the door, he sat down next to me and went through each POWER RANGER with me.

We had this great nativity playset up this year and the kids loved playing with it, so it was one of the last things to be put way after the holidays. The other reason I had not put it away was because the baby Jesus was missing, and I knew if I didn't put it away as a set, he may never be reunited with his family. Luckily, we found him yesterday, underneath the coffee table.

WELCOME JESUS BACK INTO OUR LIVES!

I really had a good laugh.

I am not saying that Kyle needs a halo...but, I noticed an uncanny resemblance.

He actually looks more like my husband than our own children.

Having a three year old is magical, messy, CHALLENGING, and wonderful. This morning after the baby-sitter arrived and I sat down at the computer to get a little work done, I was interrupted by the familiar "Mommy! Mommy! Come quick, I NEEEEED You!

I could tell that this was a non-emergency but, I scrambled out of my office in the 911 fashion anyway.

Parked at the dining room table head barely visible over the top of the laptop was Camden, he was wearing Spiderman undies and his favorite striped long sleeved shirt, and a smile from ear to ear.

"Mommy look! I found this song just for you! It's OUR song, your favorite!" He found Elmo and Chris Brown on Sesame Street's website.

We held hands and danced. I thought briefly about all the mothers and sons that I have seen dance together at weddings. Someday...

And he is right, it is my favorite...now.

Blaiss Wedding - Mazel Tov!

Shoshanah and Joel were married at the Congregation B'nai Israel on August 31st. There celebration spanned several days and was a wonderful blend of traditional Jewish customs and fabulous personal touches by the Bride and her planner Dawn of Wedding Wows.

Shoshanah's little niece Rachel was the sweetest, tiniest flower girl. She thought her Aunt Shosh was a princess.

The Ketubah signing ceremony took place right before the official wedding ceremony began, it was standing room only. The Rabbi did a very nice job of breaking down the meaning of each element of the ceremony and how it was significant in the lives of Shoshanah and Joel, as well as their friends and family.

LOVE THIS PART!!! This is the part where the bride circles the groom 7 times. This signifies building up their new home together. I love the sparkly expression on Shoshanah's face each time she passed her man.

My Husband Kyle, (and fabulous Asst, and second shooter) was so funny that day. He was so nervous about wearing the Yarmulkah on his head. He wanted to be the upmost respectful, but was just not 100% familiar with all the traditions. I couldn't resist pulling a little prank on him with the help of some of the Groomsmen. As you can see in this picture, one of the groomsmen just randomly pulled a red one out of the basket for Kyle to wear. It just so happened that everyone else was wearing either black, or white. I told one of the Gromsmen to tell Kyle "Oh man, you are wearing the Rabbi's Yarmulkah! He is going to be VERY upset.". Anyway, the task ended up being passed onto Shoshanah's Grandmother. The look on Kyle's face was priceless.

The Bride and Groom did a great choreographed dance to open up the reception.

Later in the evening, Joel performed a song that he had written for his new Bride. Everyone LOVED it!

It was a wonderful night!

Well. Since the arrival of our new baby boy, our older son, Camden has been working really really hard on the concept of sharing. He is still only two and has gone from being the center of the universe...to having to share Mommy and Daddy's time and attention, as well as toys and snacks with his cousins and friends that have come over to visit.

Cam is more than just a Wiggles fan, he plays the guitar and sings along and insists that he IS Jeff, or Anthony (depending on what day you ask). So, I took it as a good sign when I walked by Colby's swing and saw this...

Marquel & Bill's Wedding

July 26th. What a perfect day!

Marquel and the girls got ready at the Holiday Inn Harbourside. What better way to shake the pre-wedding jitters than to surround your self with your best friends...who just so happen to be hilarious. These girls were crackin' me up the whole day.

The guys met up early at the church (St. Jude the Apostle Cathedral in St. Petersburg - One of my favorites)

Bill looks a tiny bit nervous in this shot...but, it might have been because Marquel's limo was late picking them up and the ceremony started late despite the fact that ALL THE GIRLS WERE READY AHEAD OF TIME.

Bill's nieces were the flower girls. Doesn't she look like an angel? I think that kids add so much to a wedding. I took so many pictures of these little ones that I could have done a slideshow of just them.

After the girls arrived at the Cathedral, the wedding began and could not have been more beautiful.

Last Saturday, Kyle and I finally got to photograph the wedding of Bill and Marquel. I say finally because, I had a blast photographing their engagement session, right before my little guy was born and I could not wait to see them again.

Bill is an old high school buddy of mine, and it was so exciting to be there to witness him starting his life as a married man with one of the coolest chicas I have ever met! Not only is Marquel drop dead gorgeous (let's get the obvious out of the way right off) she is the kind of girl that makes you feel like you have been friends for years. I have so much to gush about regarding their wedding but, as I am currently working on their photos, I will just take a minute and post this deliciously fun video that her sister (Blaire Skinner) made. Ok, so my husband has recently gone from a kinda, sorta Tampa Bay Rays fan, to a every night watchin', jersey & cap wearin', "Trop" attending baseball maniac. He even took our two-year-old to a game, so, he is not only now REALLY into the game, but brave too. Bandwagon, you say? Or, maybe he just has high standards.

Regardless of the success or failure of the Rays, there is one player that we constantly follow and cheer on, even though he doesn't play for "Our team", Detroit Tigers number 25, Ryan Raburn. We had the pleasure of getting to know Ryan, and his gorgeous wife, Suzanne when we shot their wedding last year.

Last week, June 28, 2008, Raburn hit his first career grand slam against Colorado Rockies pitcher Jeff Francis.

Congrats Ryan on your first wedding anniversary, and your continued success on the field. Go Tigers (& Rays)!

I know, I know...you all have been asking and waiting for a LOOOOONG time. Well, here it is, our new blog.

We have been VERY busy shooting some of the greatest weddings yet. I can't wait to share with you some of our recent images and stories.
